What WinHive does
WinHive publishes prize competitions for adults aged 18+ in England, Scotland and Wales. Prizes can include technology, gift cards, cash, Hive Credit and other clearly described items. Each live competition page sets out the prize, closing time, ticket price, ticket supply, personal entry limit and significant conditions.
Paid and free entry routes
Paid online entries use Hive Credit held in a member's WinHive account. Relevant prize competitions also provide a free postal entry route. Postal entries that meet the published requirements are entered into the same prize allocation process as valid paid entries.
What happens after a competition closes
WinHive keeps completed competition pages online as permanent records rather than removing the original prize URL. Published winners appear on the winners page, while draw or instant-win verification records are linked where applicable.
Fairness and transparency
WinHive records the eligible ticket pool and uses its published draw process to select winners. You can read the technical overview on the fairness and draw process page, and completed competition records can be reviewed in the Previously Drawn archive.
Is WinHive legitimate?
WinHive is operated as a real UK prize competition website with published operator details, customer support, competition terms and permanent result records. We deliberately keep the important checks public so visitors can verify how the site works rather than relying on marketing claims alone.
WinHive is also listed by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport as an operator signatory to the Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators on GOV.UK. This is a voluntary Code commitment rather than a Government licence or endorsement of individual competitions.
You can also view WinHive on Trustpilot. Reviews are independent of WinHive and customers are asked for honest feedback without a review reward.
Business and support details
WinHive is operated by Joseph Ryan trading as WinHive. Support is available at hello@winhive.co.uk. Full operator and contact information is maintained on the contact and business details page.
